Seven volunteers,
one Utah org.
Scott Belchak
Founded ElevateUT in 2022 after returning to Utah and seeing what the sport needed. Manages all grant relationships, designed River Bottoms and Wasatch Wunder, led the Creekside renovation with Salt Lake County, and built the league management platform that powers leagues across Utah. Background in event management and software development. Still prints saddle-stitched booklets for every city meeting.
Kami Belchak
Co-founded ElevateUT with Scott. Served as the org's first Treasurer before transitioning to Secretary in September 2025. Keeps the operational side running — meeting minutes, compliance filings, and the institutional memory that holds a volunteer-run non-profit together.
John Sheen
Transaction advisory professional with a Master of Accountancy from USC. Completely balanced the non-profit's books before his official appointment. Manages grant disbursements, course-build budgets, the annual 990 filing, and co-signs the USWDGC 2026 tournament bank account. Day job: Deals Senior Associate at Embark Consulting, running buy-side PE due diligence.
Brodie Duncan
Director of Communications at E. EXCEL by day, disc golf brand builder by night. Runs FLYDSGN, his design and media company. Handles all ElevateUT social media, ad campaigns, signage, and the Plant the Flag campaign for USWDGC 2026. Designed the championship medals and trophy artwork. BFA in Graphic Design from New Mexico State.
Nick Jennings
Primary host of the ElevateUT podcast and tournament director for Dragonfly at USWDGC 2026. Came to disc golf from competitive ultimate frisbee, played his first real round at Tetons with a starter set, and walked into Another Round looking to get involved. Now works at the shop alongside Ben Marolf and TDs events across the Wasatch Front.
Sean Kelley
Construction manager for Wasatch Wunder and owner of Ceardai Customs LLC. Runs the skid-steer, coordinates subcontractors, frames tee pads, and calls every concrete pour. Managed the entire Wunder build — from clearing fairways to pouring five tee pads in a single day. Podcast co-host and USWDGC 2026 event execution lead.
Jesse Semchuck
Independent governance voice on the board. Non-disc golfer by design — provides the outside perspective that keeps a volunteer-run org accountable. Maintains full voting rights, focuses on attending meetings, tracking motions, and voting fairly.
